Position Overview: Meridian High School is seeking a dedicated and flexible Agricultural Science Instructor to join our Career & Technical Education (CTE) team. This instructor will teach a variety of classes with majority of the focus being mechanics, welding, and small gas engines, supporting students in gaining technical and leadership skills through hands-on learning and FFA participation. This position requires an individual committed to fostering student success by creating a purposeful, engaging, and industry-relevant learning environment while maintaining a positive and professional classroom culture.
Qualifications:
Idaho CTE Certification in Agricultural Science & Technology (or eligibility to obtain certification).
Industry experience or endorsements in mechanics, welding, or small gas engines preferred.
Strong leadership, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
Passion for agricultural education, hands-on learning, and student leadership development.
