Do you want a career where your passion for agriculture and investment in students make a positive impact each day? Do you enjoy a job where no two days are the same and you are always learning? Then teaching ag may be right for you!

Agricultural educators live a life like none other. Each day is different. Each hour is different spanning from classroom instruction to laboratory, field, shop, and more! A day that begins with classroom instruction transitions into hands-on practice, competitive event coaching, community service, FFA activities and more!

How do I become an Ag Teacher?

There are two pathways to becoming a certified Ag Teacher. One is a college degree with a culmination of a bachelors degree from the University of Idaho, and the other is an alternative certification of individuals coming into the profession from agricultural business and industry.
