Madison High School
Job Title: Agricultural/CTE Instructor
Teaching Assignments: Duties will include teaching botany, plant science, greenhouse management, floral design, nursery landscape, and soil science, ag structures/woodshop. Must be science endorsed. Teacher responsibilities will be discussed with the candidates but would most likely include some animal science, leadership, classes in the plant and soil pathway.
Additional Duties: Serving as an FFA advisor is expected and will be required but those responsibilities will be shared with the other advisors. Extended contract days are paid with this position. 30-40 days will be offered based on experience.
Additional School Information: Madison High School is a 6A Idaho public high school located in Rexburg, Idaho, serving approximately 1,350 students in Grade 10-12. Madison Senior High has been consistently ranked as one of Idaho’s top schools by U.S. News and World Reports, Niche.com, and has been placed on the Advanced Placement Honor roll by the College Board. Teton High School/Middle School
Job Title: Ag Educator
Teaching Assignments: We have a great shop program that includes a welding pathway and a cluster program teaching a range of classes. Primary needs are advanced welding, small engines, Ag Mech, Intro to Ag but some courses will be subject to the applicant. Middle School needs are being discussed. Additional School Information: FFA and program is growing. Primarily became a shop only department, but has grown exponentially the last two years. Community is diverse but loves the agriculture department especially as we continue to grow. We are in the process of building an alumni. FFA is raising fair turkeys and rabbits. We are finalizing the last amounts of a funds for the greenhouse and should be established at the end of the 2025 calendar year.

Job Title: Agriculture Teacher

Additional School Information: State of the art Metal Fabrication Lab, 30+ acres of irrigatable Ag. Land, Agriculture Barn with a teaching Lab, 16X32 Greenhouse, School Orchard. Additionally the program has outside connections and resources in the community with connections to many of the local producers and employers. The program support from administration is strong with a past Ag. Educator as the BHS Principal and the Superintendent being a past CTE teacher.
